I’m available to shoot portraits in the Twin Cities area. My style tends to be up close with a focus on expression, lighting, and lines in the image. I typically shoot on location; with sessions lasting about an hour or two.
Session fees are due upon booking and start at $100 in the Twin Cities area. Please email me to schedule a session or to get an exact quote for your needs. Session fees cover the photographers time only and do not include prints. The session fee includes planning and the creative time during your session, as well as an password-protected online gallery where you can share your images with friends and family. It also includes your scheduled private viewing session where you will be able to see and order your final portraits. After the session, your images will be able to purchase prints and/or digital files.
Planning
This is the most important part of your entire experience. We will discuss how to customize your session to fit who YOU are. We will talk about what your expectations are for your session, what clothing to wear, where to do the session, etc…
The Session
This is where the fun begins. Because we have already discussed all the details of your session, you can relax, be yourself, and let Greg do all the work. Sessions typically last for 1-2 hours.
Prints
Within a couple weeks of your session we will review images and order prints. The session is a consultation to help you select images. I help explain your options, make recommendations, and may provide a digital mock-up to simulate how the printed work will look hung on your wall. I work with several leading print labs to produce a variety of printed products, including fine art prints, gallery wrapped canvas, albums, and other personalized products.
Delivery of Portraits
Please allow 2-6 weeks for the delivery of your prints. Albums and framed prints may take up to 12 weeks for completion. It is worth the wait I PROMISE!!!
Digital Files
You will receive low resolution digital images of any print ordered, which can be shared on email, Facebook, etc. You may purchase a DVD of the high-resolution JPG’s for personal use and archiving for $400.
Copyright
All images copyrighted by photographer, Greg Benz. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, or reproduce Greg’s work in any manner or medium. It is important to me to have complete control over the final look of my images, as these images represent the high quality that I strive to give my clients. Scanned images do not do justice to the art of the image, and downloaded images from this site or my blog are not suitable for printing. Again, my images represent me and I ask that you respect me as an artist and do not steal or misuse my work.
