About Greg Benz

I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Minneapolis.  My style has developed with 10 years of experience.  I first picked up the camera in a serious way back in 2000 when I was living in London.  My interest in documenting my travels quickly turned into a love for photography.  I've never received formal training in photography, I've developed my style and technique through working with numerous other photographers, reading every book and magazine I can get my hands on, and shooting literally hundreds of thousands of photographs.  I would define my artistic style as focused on telling personal stories with the use of dramatic lines and light.

Thank you for checking out my work!,

MMMmmmm….. Cheese Curds…

Well Balanced Meal

Homer Simpson might really enjoy Minneapolis and St Paul with a steady diet of these bad boys.  Nothing like a little “squeaky cheese” to complete your trip to the State Fair.  That and maybe some fried hot dish on a stick.  Or fried candy bar on a stick.  Or fried spaghetti on a stick… Noticing a pattern here?  Of course, you can wash it down with a frozen pickle juice popsickle.

September 7, 2008 - 6:47 am thedailyclick - Never heard of cheese curds, but now I want a fried Milky Way! (Thanks a lot! LOL) Sounds like I need to take my girls to Minneapolis, they drink pickle juice right out of the jar, yuck!

September 8, 2008 - 7:06 am ty - You had the BEST! Those tasty white nuggets of cheddar cheese came from the "Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin"! (Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery Cheddar Cheese Curds!) The Governor of Wisconsin gave them that title! You can even find their FRESH cheddar cheese curds in grocery stores (Cub Foods - Deli Section - as one example) and at convenience stores (Super America). They even have an easy four-ingredient recipe for battering cheese curds on the back of their 1# packages. So easy - and it brings the State Fair right into your home! Their cheese is always white - the color of fresh, quality wholesome milk. Question: "Did you ever drink a glass of orange milk?" And it’s made from rBST free milk. They even have a web site: www.ellsworthcheesecurds.com

September 10, 2008 - 8:32 am layrayski - ha looks like a place I could enjoy!
