A few weeks ago I made my first trip to the University of Minnesota’s Arboretum. I certainly appreciate flowers and love to see them around the city, but its rare that I’d make a 20 minute drive out to see them. This place is unbelieveable, one of the best arboretum’s I’ve ever seen. There are over 1000 acres of flowers, garden paths, hiking trails, woodlands, … It’s open year round (I bet the cross country skiing is very beautiful in the winter).
