Mickey’s Diner is a St. Paul classic! It was founded back in 1939 and is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It’s been in several hollywood movies, including Jingle All the Way, The Mighty Ducks, and Garrison Kealer’s “A Prairie Home Companion“. It’s open 24 hours a day… good late-night-post-bar-munchies run…
There are great restaurants like this all over the city. My favorite list of places to check out is the excellent Twin Cities Food and Drink Guide by Josh Resnick.
