About Me

I'm a Twin Cities (Minneapolis) based photographer with a passion for portraiture and urban skyscapes.  I pride myself on being a bit of an eclectic who takes an interest in all manner of people and places and travel a fair bit, so I try to include other elements of my work into my blog.  My work tends to use a modern style with a mind toward drawing out the edges in life.  I draw inspiration in my portraiture from Greg Gorman, Herb Ritts, Platon, and a handful of other masters of the art.

Whether your a new fan or an old friend, please be sure to leave a comment or drop me a line, I appreciate the feedback or just knowing who I'm reaching on the web.  Thanks for checking out my work!

Thanks!,

Mickey's Dining Car

Mickey’s Diner is a St. Paul classic!  It was founded back in 1939 and is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places.  It’s been in several hollywood movies, including Jingle All the Way, The Mighty Ducks, and Garrison Kealer’sA Prairie Home Companion“. It’s open 24 hours a day… good late-night-post-bar-munchies run…

There are great restaurants like this all over the city. My favorite list of places to check out is the excellent Twin Cities Food and Drink Guide by Josh Resnick.

November 12, 2007 - 10:56 pm Rob - Cool pic, I always wanted to get a neon lit pic of this diner, but haven't yet. This one is fabulous. so many great non-chain dining places in the city to choose from. But I am still bitter at the closing of Cafe di Napoli.
