I'm a Twin Cities (Minneapolis) based photographer with a passion for portraiture and urban skyscapes. I pride myself on being a bit of an eclectic who takes an interest in all manner of people and places and travel a fair bit, so I try to include other elements of my work into my blog. My work tends to use a modern style with a mind toward drawing out the edges in life. I draw inspiration in my portraiture from Greg Gorman, Herb Ritts, Platon, and a handful of other masters of the art.

This is the downtown Minneapolis, viewed from the 110 Grant Building on the Southeast. I never really thought I would take so many images of the same city, but I’m constantly amazed at how different it looks from different angles. And of course, the mood of the city changes constantly with the sun and weather.
I shot this from the High Bridge in St Paul. St Paul is twin in the Twin Cities people always put in the background, but it’s such an amazing city. The architecture is so interesting, the converted warehouse buildings are incredible. The St Paul Art Crawl (especially the Tilsner building) is incredible....
The AT&T Tower in downtown Minneapolis looks like broccoli in the day, no doubt about it. And that’s cool, but it looks a whole lot cooler when it’s a fiery vegetable at night.
